Argentina has been shocked by an allegation, similar to the Fritzl incest affair in Austria.

A 67-year-old man from Mendoza has been accused of fathering seven children with his own daughter.

He allegedly abused her for more than 20 years.

The family in question had never been thoroughly investigated until now, even though neighbours had been to the police on several occasions.

Even though the neighbours suspected wrongdoing, it was not revealed until the daughter, who is now 35, lodged a complaint through fear her eldest daughter would also become victim to incest.
